總統府昨天針對八仙塵爆召開國安高層會議時強調，歡迎境外醫護人員來台協助，政府絕對不會不近人情，法律也有例外，指示衛福部與醫界在不違反法令範圍內，研議實務上可行作法。
針對八仙塵爆意外，馬英九昨（6）日下午於總統府召開國安高層會議，率衛福部、內政部、國防部、陸委會、教育部、退輔會、交通部、外交部、災防辦公室等相關部會首長參加，另亦邀請新北市長朱立倫與會。
馬英九在會中裁示政府四項處理原則：「救人第一、不計代價」，所有救人所需將不計代價；「一人一案、長期陪伴」，成立基金會，長期陪伴；「統合統整、群策群力」，結合中央地方，政府與民間；「追究責任、檢討原因」，改善一定貫徹，責任追究到底。
交通部將與新北市政府組織求償團隊，準備團體訴訟，取得假扣押裁定，將責由八仙樂園負起責任，不足部分亦應依法負賠償責任。朱立倫在會中表示，針對未來各界捐款，新北市府將以公開、透明方式進行整體運用。
